Who We Are

It began in in 1984 when a group of students, most of whom were baseball players, wanted to support the basketball team. With some encouragement from former basketball coach Dan Fitzgerald, these students became dedicated fans who members of the Kennel Club today hope to emulate. During the 1984-85 season, this group was given the name The Kennel Club and printed the first KC t-shirts, selling between 50-60 shirts.

The Kennel Club is now the largest student organization at Gonzaga University and is proud to be celebrating its 30th anniversary! With over 2500 members and growing, our student run club is the backbone of Bulldog spirit. Our primary purpose as a club is to support Gonzaga's 14 Division 1 athletic teams.

"They go to school, they do their homework, they shake hands, they say please and thank you, but once you throw that ball up, they will rip your heart out and watch you bleed"
